Heading in a Hurry — Thursday, April 27, 2017

Have you ever noticed how life is full of heading somewhere….at a fast pace….

Always going someplace

In a hurry … the feeling always…don’t be late.

A rushing to an fro, and here and there sort of thing.

Then I read this:  “The trick is to look where no one else is looking. That’s where the beauty is.”–Giorgia Ori, Photographer

And I thought…YES!  That is what I want to do…find the beauty where others are not looking.

Your friend on a western Colorado farm,

Linda

  1. Just exactly that…the looking…adds an amazing and delightful dimension to life that might otherwise be lost to the hustle and bustle. I was delighted when Alan’s new girlfriend sat talking to me last weekend and said, “I look at things so differently since I have known him…I see so much more.” And that “more” is always there to see if only we look. Take care, dear friend.

  2. the neighbor who rents our farmland got into the fields yesterday with disk and harrow, and they all look so nice now. it’s supposed to stay warm and rain this afternoon, then be really nice tomorrow, then rain some more over the four days after that. it will be the usual threading-the-needle spring for him – between the rains and his full-time dayside job off the farm – to get planting done. he has a home farm as well. –suz in ohio
