“Each day comes bearing its own gifts. Untie the ribbons.”–Ruth Ann Schabacker
Tally came. We got to have her for three days and two nights
The time went fast for Grandpa and I…
I’m sure, what we saw as shimmering motes of time; specks dancing in the light, passing faster than a heartbeat–
Probably had long-drawn-out-moments for her
But for us…each second seemed to shimmer in the air
Grandchildren are that place in your heart where flowers grow and journeys are short–
They color you heart in shades of color you never knew existed.
From my world to your heart,
Linda
How wonderful that you had this time with Tally. These are always priceless.

They are…once the kids become teenagers they don’t have time for grandparents…which is all very sad for grandparents (although, not teenagers 🙂 )

So beautiful and so true…if only they didn’t grow up so fast.

I know. One of your granddaughters is often on a huge adventure…just yesterday she was learning to walk.

I have to enjoy children and grandchildren vicariously, I wasn’t blessed with my own. But I have had a lot of fun being an aunt and great aunt!

I enjoy her so much…she is a talky talky child and has LOTS of energy so there really isn’t a down time
