There is nothing like having the visit of a grandchild…
They bring back those things you have forgotten how to do
That shining, excited, gaiety…which lives in motion in youth.
Then it was time to leave us and go spend the weekend with Aunt Kimi and Uncle Cliff….bouncing, bouncing all the way.
From our world to your heart,
Linda Brown
Lucky…. I have to ‘borrow’ children to get a taste of that energy and life.

I’m glad your granddaughter was able to stay with you for a few days. It looks as if she had a wonderful time — as did you!

She had so much fun she wants to come back this weekend. We said SURE!

If they could bottle that energy and not waste it on the young. Or at least share it. What a delight to have a grandchild and close enough to visit.

They live an hour and a half away…not far…but in someways too far.

She is growing way too fast. Soon it will be all about friends so we cherish this time.

She is ten now…the others older. In reality she is the only one who likes to hang out with old people. The other two do, but their friends are much more interesting. π

Those merry-go-rounds are illegal here. I remember how fun they were. It is good to know that some kids still get to experience them.
