Like stinging bugs
But, if —if we just slow down and listen to the god-filled skies
Or Heavens, if you prefer
You will have the courage, strength, and ability
To remain calm
The promise of warmer weather
Is changing the bleakness of each and every day
Soon to be nothing but a memory, a gift of a world-wide movement to bring us into a new world
A gift of darkness but also one of light.
Where friendships forged on the home-front and through the internet, will be strengthened; causing strong and unbreakable bonds
We are now visiting the future, although the bitter sting of the Coronavirus is making its wild and violent way around the world in the present.
The pandemic is leading all of us to band together, to be safe, to care for those we know and those we don’t know.
I am most thankful for all of you out there in my Blogland and on FaceBook. You make this trying time much better.
From my heart to each of you,
Stay Safe. Stay Strong.
We will emerge from this into a new and better world.
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
Mom and I feel it and know it and trust that together we will all get through it. We know we are not alone.

Thank you for an inspiring, up-lifting post. At times it seems as if we will be overwhelmed by the rumors and panic, but we all need to take a deep breath and see the developing beauty of Spring all around us.

Oh! How beautiful! How prescient of you to know exactly what we need to hear and think about. Blessings on you. Prayers for you and for us all. We will manage. This isn’t 1918 or 1941 or anything we can’t handle. Part of this is the incessant news cycle which hypes everything. I saw a sigh–“Your parents were called to war; you have been called to the sofa; get a grip.” I don’t even want to think of what our grandparents were called to cope with. “This too will pass away.” Hug the fur babies.

HAHAH That is a cute joke! Yes, this too will pass. I think people just get to thinking too much and can’t get out to change their thoughts.

I know in my heart that you are right in what you say, Linda. We will get through this and be better for it, in a number of ways. Let us do what we’re told for now and keep those prayers on our lips. Better times are coming. Take good care. Stay well.

Your isolated living environment can be quite protective as it is and with this situation, all that fresh air is bound to keep you safe and well. Keeping good thoughts.
