Last Tuesday,
June 16, 2020 smoke filled our skies,
our eyes, and our lungs
The smoke came into us from the huge fire in Durango, Colorado
And another one on the Indian Reservation called the Six-Shooter Fire
Plus those fires burning in Arizona.
Please…remember to be careful in this hot dry windy time.
Please.
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
I didn’t realize there were so many fires around you. I hope they get no closer.

They are quite away ways from us, but the smoke travels on mighty winds over the mountains.

We had our share of fires last summer. Far away but lots of smoke. We bought air purifiers for the house (useful for dust too) and wore masks outside. Praying for you all!
Happy Fathers Day

Smoke is so bad for you, I hope they get rain to put them out and no wind or lightening strikes:(

We are terribly dry …always in a red flag warning and LOTS and LOTS of hot wind. We need rain, you are so right!

It’s amazing how thick the smoke has been from fires so far away. It’s so scary when you live in a forest.

It would be most frightening!

Goodness. I had no idea. Are they out, now?

I don’t know. They must be because the smoke in the sky is gone.

Glad to hear that.
