I love feeding the birds.
Each season brings such joy
Watching the birds. 🙂
I suppose it comes with grey hair, and a face lined from passing years
But doing so…feeding and watching the birds.
Helps me see the earth as new and fresh each day.
(This young Red-Winged Blackbird is delighted with this find)
They bring a precious bit of luxury to everyone’s life
Not only to the birds, with the food; to my heart, mind, and soul observing them.
From my world to your heart,
Linda
Love those goldfinches, so pretty.

Feeding the birds is such a delight and I don’t think it has anything to do with hair color 🙂 Here in the forest, we’d hardly ever see a bird without putting out suet & seeds in the winter. And we must have the only bird bath around ~ yea!

Love the birdies! They are so cute.
Me and Ollie were out in the backyard, yesterday. A bluebird was close by and Ollie was “kitty barking.” I had to laugh.

We only see bluebirds in March and Early October. Lucky you!

We may have a different bluebird. Ours are Eastern Bluebirds. They are year-round, here, just like the Cardinals. There are bluebird houses all over town.

Ours are Western Bluebirds. We don’t have Cardinals, I wish we did.

Your Western Bluebirds remind me of our Wrens in shape. Ours are more slender. The coloring is nearly the same.
There is a Western-type Cardinal that is a Desert Cardinal but, they are down in Arizona & New Mexico. They are cute.
I’m sorry you don’t have Cardinals, Mama.
