The Wind Tugs, Then Stops, and the Air Becomes Calm —Sunday, May 16, 2021

See the male in the background and the female in the forefront?

In the cool morning light, I often see my little male pheasant who has claimed the Upper End

And at least one of his ‘girls’

I see him often in the cool of the early morning light

Followed by two hens.  Sometimes only one, but most of the time two.

BUT, in the delightful sinking of the sun,

as we turned up to the largest Alfalfa field, I saw ANOTHER male rooster.

Then over by the little creek, which runs through the farm, there was One More!

Finally, the last one I saw was guarding his territory by the little alfalfa field!

Four male pheasants, in four different areas of the farm….all protecting ‘their spot’.

What a beautiful, shimmering, abundant world we live in!

We are so blessed.  Thank you to each and every person who reads this; for your prayers and hugs and well-wishes.

From my heart to your world,

Linda
