Connie from Minnesota sent me these homemade wasp nests. You stuff them with plastic bags then decoupage them. After they are dry you hang them where wasps like to nest.
I needed to hurry and get them hung up because TLC Cai-Cai thought they were made for him. 🙂
No more invasive bugs at our house!

I’m not sure what homemade wasp nests do??? Do wasps go into these or does it keep them from coming around to the area they are hung. Never heard of doing this.

It keeps them from areas that the wasps like to build nests. They think that territory is already taken so they move on. 🙂

That is so cool. Keep us posted on effectiveness.

I can see why TLC Chi-Cai thought they were for him to play with. What a neat gift!

Morning Linda …what sort of wasp would make these their home?

I think they are called Paper Wasps, but I’m not sure. They build HUGE nests.
