I have been noticing, for some time now, soft, little round holes in my herb garden. Wondering what they were, I decided I had better start paying attention, not wanting some creature or bug taking hold of the soil.
So there I was, two days ago, raking some more leaves out of the carport, when I noticed
A tiny bird in one of the holes. Taking great care to not move quickly, yet get a photo or two
I was able to see, just ‘who’ makes the holes with such intent!
For a few precious seconds, I got to be part of a wonderful little experience–a connection, so to speak.
I thanked the Universe for such a beautiful experience!
From my world to your heart,
Linda
Sweet little birds would not have been our first guess. Mom went straight to RATS or moles or skunks! Birds…. *sigh* SOOOO much better.
Love and licks,

How cool! Ground sparrows maybe? A little indent, covered with leaves so they’re all tucked in frim the storms… just perfect!
