You just think I’m going with you.
I don’t Care if T’Ata and Glory Bee are going!
You aren’t going to make me go
EVER!!!
Get this through your head…
I only go if I WANT to go! said LaVerne the Mule as she dashed this way and that.
So, that is what happened. LaVerne stayed home (and bawled and cried and ran up and down in the pasture)
While T’Ata and Glory Bee went for a nice long walk-about.
LaVerne the Mule—guess what? There is a saying: “Don’t cut off your nose to spite your face.”
Nose? Nose? Why would I cut off my nose? LaVerne puzzled.
Oh, muley girl, you just don’t get it.
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
Cute!

My mom would say… LaVerne the Mule is happy, just wants to go her own way and you just need to love her like she is.
My mom loved mules – mom, the mule whisperer. She’d be out in that field with Laverne all. the. time.
Mom’s sister started this mule thing about mom being “so stubborn – just like a mule”. I still have my mom’s ceramic mule collection… a good memory. But what do I do with 40 years of mules?
