Time Like Sand Slipping, Slipping —-Thursday, July 21, 2022

Sometimes,

Sometimes, I feel

Like there is just too (TOO) much to do

Each day is so FULL of things that must be done

That the little pieces of ‘organization’ have to sit and wait

Flying, flying, faster and faster

From the start to the end of each day.

Your friend on a western Colorado farm,

Linda

  1. I am puzzled at how you mow, rake and bale in a field with irrigation ditches? Turning at the ends must be painfully slow? I know you must have your own solution I just can’t figure it out. Summer plans never fit as time races by.

    • You swath in a square and then bale all four ends, before going down the middle. Then when you come with the stack wagon you pick up the first row and move to the fourth row, back to the second row onto the fifth row—repeat until done.

Charlee: “And then he started humming and saying something about flying like an eagle, which, I mean, that’s an airplane in the picture, but whatever. Dada is weird like that.”
