Cliff and Kimi bought a quarter of that huge semi-load of firewood!
So —we all (Cliff, Kimberly, Terry, and I) loaded up 5 1/2 cords of firewood and took it over to Cliff and Kimberly’s house.
This way they can cut it there and not have to come all the way out to the farm!
YAY! for them and for us and the shrinking woodpile!
Your friend on a western Colorado farm
Lulu: “That’s a lot of wood! Almost enough to build a house!”
Lulu: “Well, a little one, maybe …”
You are right. And it’s beautiful wood. But the Forest Service won’t let it be sold for lumber, because it was a product of a flash fire. Sad in lots of ways.
This sounds like a win-win for every one.
We are using lots right now with terrible artic cold snap. You folks stay warm—it’s heading your way!
