Dear Linda,

We’ve had so much rain over the past months, here in Auckland New Zealand, but the sun shone yesterday at the end of the day and the rainbow rose out of the sodden land with ease and grace; a welcome surprise. It was so high and large that I could photograph only a portion of it.

I thought of you, and then when I came inside, your latest blog post arrived!

I love your blog and read them all, even though I don’t always comment.

Oh! Juliet! What a perfect gift! We have been having lots and lots of long grey days. To see the green and the rainbow is so uplifting and perfect!
