We get up now BEFORE the sun scatters our dreams
With the time change the sun is different upon waking. But farmers, being farmers (and ranchers) always work from the grey part of day to the grey part of night.
Seeing the sun wake up and rise after we start is a rather cool treat!

We don’t see such a big seasonal shift in daylight hours here, being closer to the equator. But as we come into summer, I’m happy that it’s now nearly 7pm before it gets dark, instead of 5pm in the dead of winter (or as near to winter as we get).

I enjoy watching the sun rise. I know everyone else hates this time change, but I like to get up and at it in the morning and it’s hard to do when daylight is an hour behind.
