Saturday was a mess of a day—40 to 60 mph wind gusts…then around 4:50 p.m. (the house camera caught a giant limb breaking off the very old Cottonwood tree)
A huge limb came crashing down—thankfully not on the house, or the carport — we were home when it happened. It was a tad scary, to say the least.
Sunday we woke up to a skiff of snow/ice and that big branch.
Aw, life—you get to thinking you are caught up on the big jobs — when you get to have another one! 🙂

I read Grand Junction got snow and I 70 was closed. We didn’t get anything.

Winds can sure cause a lot of damage. I’m glad that branch didn’t hit the house or carport.
