The Hot Air Balloons were here from the Fourth of July through the Sixth of July!
Getting set up
First they fill it with cold air
Then they add the hot air which gives them Lift Off
17 balloons, plus crew were here
It was a joyous feast for the eyes!
One by one they took to the sky.

They were doing teetered flights but the line was way too long so we didn’t go.

The Husband and I took a balloon trip over the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland as part of our honeymoon. It was wonderful, so much so that we repeated it for an anniversary years later. Such a fun thing to do, but the early start to catch the thermals puts a lot of people off.
