Oh! My Gosh!!! A huge branch came crashing down
Blocking the road and the bridge —just making a huge mess
Gradually we got it all cleaned up; I kept some of the wood for winter heat
Some were too big to save so we hauled away to live in the weeds; providing homes for the critters out there.
Thankfully no hen, no kitty or human was standing under it when it fell!
Your friend on western Colorado farm,
Linda

We had two cottonwoods blow down – one across the creek and the other into my area where I store metal and wood. Need to get the chain saw out!

Java Bean: “Wow, look at that! Our Dada says they had a few micro-bursts in New York when he and Mama lived there ― they did a lot of damage to the buildings and trees that they hit. One of them even hit the state fair once! One person was killed, sadly, but it was fortunate the fair hadn’t opened yet or it would have been much, much worse.”
Lulu: “Now they just straight up have tornadoes in New York. Dada isn’t sorry they weren’t there for those.”

I’m glad no one — or no thing — was hurt when that limb came down. We don’t need winds like that!

Thank goodness all humans, fur friends, and feather friends are safe and sound.

It was a tad scary. We are still cleaning up the mess, but the big stuff is finally taken care of.
