“Forever on Thanksgiving Day, the heart will find the pathway home.”–Wilbur D. Nesbit
We began cleaning out the catchment pond
(this is used to improve the quality of water going onto the farm: the dirt settles to the bottom filling up the pond and not clogging up the siphon tubes)
We worked for ten hours and then stopped. We will begin again later. There is about three days’ worth of hauling there.

One more Fall job! You guys stay busy! Happy Thanksgiving! Yes we have a number of family members that are Gluten Free. One must be careful in the kitchen. I followed a GF diet most of the summer after a terrible tummy trouble time…it was not gluten but a medication problem and took a long time to resolve itself. I have children, sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews and cousins that are GF.

I’m glad they got your tummy back to itself. Tummy troubles are miserable

You never run out of work that needs to be done around the farm. At least you’re not bored!
