We had rain…lots and lots of the cold, dreary, life-giving stuff!

But our work never really slowed down—

We just changed to things that need to be done in the house and in the outbuildings.

One thing about all this cold rain (and snow flakes), the leaves are finally almost off all the trees and bushes.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING ONE AND ALL!  You are a blessing to me!

  3. Happy Thanksgiving to y’all. It is a time to feel good about all you guys have accomplished this year, The hay is in and sold, the corn is in, and now you can take it a little easy for a while.

    Winter was when Leo used to work on his machinery. He had several tractors, a combine, a corn picker and lots of other stuff that always needed maintenance. I was never there to help with any of that, though. I was just an extra pair of hands sometimes in the fall, but it was some of the best times of my life. I do miss it every fall.

    So, looking at the pictures, you guys have a Corvette and a GTO? Dang.

  7. I hope you, Terry and our family had a happy and blessed Thanksgiving. I’m happy you got some rain, but I would be even happier if you sent some our way. We don’t need the cold, however — we have plenty of our own!
