The cold Gods are now preparing to rest—getting jammies on, brushing their teeth, one last drink of water before heading to bed until late October or Early November
The big birds are restless too. The longing to head north to the mating and raising of chicks season.
And the song birds—soon to start arriving. I have yet to see any Western Bluebirds, but I am watching for them!
Although I did see a Western Meadowlark yesterday. WHAT a neat surprise!

Yesterday I saw a pair of canadian geese mating. Things are early this year.

We saw a flock of birds going South! I wonder if they were confused or just looking for a good field to land in! March is marching on…it will tease us with sunshine and then snow I am sure…it came in like a lamb here:)
