“Boo Berry!!!
This doesn’t look good! Let’s hurry home and see what is happening! ” Mom cried as she picked me up and sat me in my car seat.
“Oh! My! Gosh! 
Get in the house TLC and Boo Berry! Our neighbor is burning his cornfields!: Mom ran us to the house and put us inside.
Later we learned Dad and Mom were out there making sure nothing sparked over our way.
It all turned out okay…but boy, that was scary for a spell!

Glad it turned out okay, but fire can spread with changing winds etc…they could have been neighborly and warned you.

Thank goodness they managed the fire. Yikes. We always see the dad on The Pioneer Woman cooking show burning the pastures. They take good care to only let the areas burn that they need to burn. It’s still crazy scary though.
