I Can Sometimes Feel the Throbbing of the Earth, Monday, May 5, 2025

Plus the strumming of the Earth’s vibrations

As spring starts warming the air—in a more substantial way.

My lilacs froze this year (along with all the fruit), but this late bloom made it—to lift the spirits of anyone who passes by.

We had a cold front move through, bringing back winter sunrises—just for a couple of days

Here is our headgate (the long metal box) where time always seems to stand still —- the roaring, tumbling water mesmerizing!

Spring so full of life that sometimes you can feel the earth humming.

From my world to your heart,

  1. You are getting thinner all the time! Hope you are feeling okay, Good that you got at least one Lilac bloom:) I am afraid we will lose fruit and flowers to a freeze too as it is way to warm already and then the temperatures will drop about Memorial day and be miserable.

  2. Sorry you’ve lost so many flowers to frost. It’s sapose to snow here tonight – not good.

At least you’ve got one gorgeous lilac to brighten the day!

  3. After so many cycles of drought and blooms last summer and fall, I worried mine wouldn’t bloom at all this spring, but they did. One of my favorite smells.
