After another round of rain,
We had fog in the early morning!
Fog is a huge delight for me. It’s not unheard of here, but it’s usually a rather rare occurrence.
My mother always said fog was a cloud that sat down on the world—so we could enter the world of Fairy for a bit.
I delighted in that thought then, and I still do now!

I do miss the fog that we had in Washington. It was magical to walk in on fall mornings.
