The Moon Sliding Across our Winter Sky — Thursday, January 8, 2025

The moon was starting to set in the west when I took this photo.

During the night, it had been sliding in and out of clouds — with a rainbow colored ring around it.

Then, one morning, the sky cleared for a spell.

With the moonlight touching my eyes, heart, and soul.

I was out early yesterday morning as the sun rose but looking straight up was the huge almost full moon with a backdrop of bright blue sky. Now snow sky here for a few days…
