The Rocky Mountain bluebirds are so beautiful. I can never tell the difference between the house finch and the purple finch. The Merlin app tells me based on the bird song that we have house finches.

The are. Do you get lesser gold fiches? We would get them when we lived in Colorado as they migrated. Once and a while, we got a gold finch or two.
