We had mama doe and twins grazing in the back yard the last two evenings. I can watch from the second floor window and they’re not bothered at all. I did try for some photos but the silly camera just kept trying to focus on the screen wire. Early this year there were eight deer in the back yard for a couple hours. They live mostly in the cemetery about a block south of here and there’s a lot of large lots and so forth around plus the Tippecanoe river is about three blocks east.
They grow so fast… but they’ll hang around for quite awhile.

We don’t have corn this year, but our neighbor does. So they are eating his corn ( 😦 ) and living with us.
