Terry is trying to stop the problem of the pipes sanding up, so he broke out the cement took out the larger 12” pipe and put in a 10” pipe. The day we worked on this little project, was the first day of our 45 mile an hour gusts of wind!
What a happy little plant. One of those plants I look forward to every year, as a harbinger of spring!
Terry started the water, what a mess with all of the wind and trash and wind and trash, oh, yes, I said that. You can see my hair blowing madly about!
The foaming white spots are trash in the furrows. We walk down each furrow knocking out the trash so the water will make it to end of the field.
We had a terrible wind storm, winds registering up to 45 miles an hour. Dust in the air, tree branches on the ground, and the irrigation pipe pick-up and flung around.
The next day was horribly cold!
I looked out the window and what did I see?
Popcorn popping on the apricot tree!
