Waiting for the hay to dry in October can be a little longer than usual.  This is our neighbor’s field, thick with frost. Everyone’s hay is still to wet too bale.  But the shelling/picking corn harvest will begin anytime now.

Heading home!  A long way to go!  We stayed the night in Limon, Colorado, just a few miles away from the border, and a few miles outside of Denver.

The Tractor was Junk!

The tractor was junk!  Didn’t run, the PTO frozen on one side, the tires didn’t even match, many other things.  Not what the guy said on the phone, by any means!

Getting Close to the Home of the 630 John Deere Tractor

We are getting close to Topeka, Kansas.  The drive was very pretty, and we got to see many crops, and some of the farmers harvesting corn.
