Bringing with it a terrible, nasty cold front

No matter the wind and nasty cold, the irrigation had to keep on keeping on

The pears, the prunes, and the sour cherries all froze.

We have these friendly little flowers!

Apricots are in Bloom

And of course if froze, so that means no fruit.  The average in our area is every five years we get an apricot crop.

Still I can enjoy the blossoms, this is one type of apricot (Sun Gold, I think) and here is another, which I don’t know the name.

The Food Supply is Growing

The largest part of my garden, the tomatoes, is really looking good.  I have lots of blooms and even some fruit setting on.

Sammy the kitty-cat loves to help me wherever I am working.  He is such a sweet thing.
