Terry’s been working on this for some time. The next step is to take it down and give it a bath, but to have it out and running is really cool.
Since our oldest daughter stopped by, she got to have a spin before she went on to work.

P.S. This is what he does in his spare time….works on cars!

we have a 66 mustang convertible, I call it our boat because we put so much money in it and never use it. we have owned it since about 1974. Jan is right these cars were real cars with style and you got them paid off before they wore out.

I can hear the engine purr, all the way from Texas. LOVE that sound.
Tell Terry I had a ’70 Cutlass with a 455 four-barrel in it, when I was in high school. I still miss that car.

Cool to see such a project up and running. So many times I’ve seen a guy haul an auto carcass home with all kinds of plans and dreams. Then it sits, rusts and becomes a birdhouse and mouse condo. Go! Go! lil’ GTO!

I believe each year these cars were produced they became a bit slower. The 64 was the fastest. This is a cool car. Any chance of getting a shot of some tire smoke. I love the smell of burning rubber not just in the morning but anytime.
These cars were fast. It didn’t take much to make them even faster.

He did a really nice job on it. Looks really good. Congratulations!
Looks like a lot of garages there, so he probably won’t part with them, but it could be a nice income if he sold them as he finished.
