The crows have found our house.  They sit in the tree calling loudly to whomever and whatever about …. who knows what.

All summer long I have tried and tried to take photos of bumble bees, humming birds and red-wing black birds

At least I was able to capture this one crow before he flew off with his flock mates.

Happy Sunday everyone!

  1. We used to have flocks of raucous crows settle in our trees in SC. They were so noisy it was hard to think! I hear them now, in my mind, as I read your post and viewed your pictures (your ‘slideshow’ makes the crow look like he’s dancing!)
    Happy Sunday to you, too!

  2. Mr. Crow looks quite happy to be up in the cottonwood tree. My extended family that live in Shavano Valley have cottonwood trees and it makes me think of them to see that picture. I love the sound of the wind in the cottonwood leaves. And the few crows that come around my house provide enough noise to be pleasant. When I was a kid living in parrot country we would have flocks of macaws, parrots and parakeets flying over head. If they landed in the mango tree the noise was such that we couldn’t even converse until they flew off. Great memmories.
