Sunday Stills—Weather or Not

Farming is going strong here.  The morning always starts out good, but by the end of the day the wind comes up.

  1. Great pictures… Glad farming has begun… Just hope there are no more FIRES…

We have had rain for the past couple of days and it’s cooler outside. We got spoiled the past couple of weeks due to the Summer weather–but it’s supposed to warm up this coming week again…

    Have a wonderful day.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  2. I know it is spring when the tractors once again return to the fields, such a welcomed sight. A bit early here though. Now that is some wind, our wind usually comes in the afternoon, a southerly breeze off the ocean. I am curious, do you have spring peepers on the Delta? Enjoy the day, Julie.

  3. Wind seems to be as much a part of spring as robins and tulips. Although we need wind to dry out mud and fly kites I do wish we had a lot less of it. (does lot less even make sense? oh well)

  4. We have more wind here (in Florida) than we have had in past years — but not as blustery as yours. Light breeze feels good here, keeps it cooler. But sometimes it really blows in the afternoon — scary if you’re out on the water because you thought it was a nice calm day.

  5. Thanks for stopping by my blog to comment. Believe it or not, we talked about the wind at the Blogger Brunch – it really does play havoc with our recreational pursuits! They are predicting winds up to 35 tomorrow afternoon with blowing dust. Delightful!

  6. We would call this a dirty day. Cabs make it more comfortable with the dust. However in the old days with cabless tractors the machinery was smaller so stirred up less dust.

  7. Cough cough. I really dislike wind anyway. Oh and no Linda I don’t paint (in reference to your question on my blog). But I have a number of friends that do! 🙂
