It’s cold here…12*, but still dogs need to walk, and I need to walk, and the little kids like to get out of the house.
While coming back from the upper end masses of Sand Hill Cranes flew overhead….
My still shot was not very good, but at least you can hear their sound.
Linda

Wow, that is just great to hear them like that! Thanks!

Brrrrr….. And I’m freezing INSIDE the house –at our 19 degrees… ha ha … BUT–like you, we also have a beautiful sunny day with blue skies… Yeah!!! First time we have seen the sun in many many days… We have about 1/2 inch (or less) of snow on the ground here… Pretty even though there is not much of it.
Love hearing and seeing those cranes as they fly over…
Hugs,
Betsy

Those cranes are a noisy bunch, aren’t they? Reminds me of the wild parrots here, only much more majestic.

We need to get out too but no walking for Sterling till after his therapy dog test today so I know he is at least somewhat clean!

Sandhills are embedded in my brain. We would hear them all spring in Sask. They would be very high and we would have to look hard to see them.

Nice to hear the cranes. We mostly hear Canadian geese early morning and just before sunset. Stay warm. Happy New Year!

It has been cold here too but not that cold, thank heavens. I’ll be taking Nessa out for a walk tomorrow. Jon takes her on the weekends. How is Fuzzy doing?

You must have had quite a few of them and quite low, too. I get to hear them quite often this time of year, always enjoy the sound of them.
