We are narrowing down February…the month is close to an end. Which suits me just fine…February is my hardest month to get through, even though I try really hard to liven up the month with bright colors to make up for the forever cold days.
This storm is going to be here today (30% chance of snow) and tomorrow (40% chance of snow) then leaving us with just 10% chance of snow. Usually that 10% is in the mountains…which is always good.
(The moon has a thin film of clouds over it, I was hoping the clouds would show up, but they just made the moon fuzzy.)
If every thing holds together the week end look like it will be warm and sunny! YIPPEE!
Linda

The photo across the mesa is wonderful and you’ve almost made it thru February. Good thing it is short for you! 🙂

Hi Linda, It’s hard to believe that March is almost here. Does that mean that SPRING is not far off??????????
Hope you get snow –especially in the mountains where you need it so much.
Stay warm.

Don’t look for any precipitation from our direction (Calif. central valley), nothing here but sunny skies and 65-70 degree days. The grass that came up with early rain in November is already parched and stunted. Might be a tight summer. I heard ladies at the gym talking this morning about flying to Colorado to ski because there have only been 5 inches of new snow in the Sierras, I hope that’s snow that does you some good.

We didn’t have snow in Oregon, but when we were working I remember thinking that for a short month February sure did seem to drag on (gray and rainy)…..not a problem now. Your pictures are just beautiful and peaceful looking (for whatever that’s worth ;>))!

Linda, I totally understand your feelings of wanting more color during the winter. This is probably one of the few things I miss about California-the winters when everything was green. I echo Yippee too for no more snow-but think we will get some this week.

For me Feb. does get better as the days are lengthening with more direct sun. March seems to drag as we;re really waiting for winter to end. You have a beautiful view around you.

Good evening Linda, February is the month for tulips. Yes, they are expensive, but they sure make winter days bareable…Greetings from snowy Maine, Julie.

Pictures are awesome. Glad that you got some snow. Part of it came to Oklahoma but my neighborhood missed it all. We did get rain, which is great.

I like your white landscape. February is hard for me too, but March can be a trial too. It tries to get warm and hint at spring and then all of a sudden it’s winter again. I’ll try not to complain about mud.

Love your photos, Linda. I enjoyed the full moon also. It was nice, but knew it meant it was really going to get cold, with the clear skies. And it did, 13f!! I’m ready for March, also!
Blessings!
