I’m still working in my yard. I have the sundial garden about weeded and planted, still have the rose bed to get too and one other huge area and I’m planted! That will be a huge relief…getting everything in the ground!
I have a nice supply of toads this year, I’ve found them in just about every place I been. They are my helpers!
Exhausted but pleased with the results,
Linda

Frogs make great helpers. I remember how beautiful your gardens are from my trip that way last year. I’m sure they will be so this year also.

Nothing like feeling you have accomplished something nice for yourself! I am anxously waiting for the warm weather to stay, so that I can buy some outside flowers to hang on my pond hangers! Our frogs stayed in the pond thru the winter, so it is nice to see all them.

Good for you on the planting and weeding. I’m still trying to get rid of bermuda grass in my raised beds…grrr. Love your cute little toad! They are helpful little creatures, aren’t they? Beautiful sunrise/sunset picture!
Blessings!

Wish I had frogs and toads for my garden and ditches. I think all the pesticides and chemicals used around here to kill any mosquitoes that might carry West Nile have taken out any such creatures and probably most of the bees. Your sunset photo is gorgeous!

We have lots of bug eaters here, too. Just wish they would eat the fire ants!
Great photos, too.

And just a few days ago you were completely depressed because of the rotten weather and everything froze, right? Now I’ll bet you don’t remember the bad weather.

Looking forward to seeing the end result ! how lucky you are to have your little toads… I just love them, but I think pesticides have killed them off here. I used to love the sound of them croaking in the swamp near our garden years ago…

Me too I put the corn in today and added lots of color to my upper yard for next year, new shoots of roses, lilacs and forsythia hope they will all get along up there and help to quiet gunfire from 2 exits away a little 🙂
