Around four o’clock on Monday afternoon the storm finally decided to leave
The sky started stretching and reaching further and further until the golden light burst forth.
The moving clouds were shifting fast and clouds turning to mist over the plateau.
The air was so crisp and fresh I could almost dance in it. Loading up the firewood for the evening I took in great breaths of fresh air that was colored in beautiful sunshine.
Such a relief from the sharp gray overcast from that morning.
From my world to your heart!
Linda

“Light is sweet and it is pleasant for the eyes to see the sun…” Ecclesiastes 11:7 (ESV) Of all the different enjoyable weather sights, ( rainbows, cloud shapes, planets) there’s nothing like the sun after the storm (or dreariness)to bring a smile. Thanks for sharing.

It makes me want to dance in it…and I do go out and walk in it!

You combine words and photographs in a way that evokes the full range of remembered senses from Western Colorado. Good job, Linda. Thanks for delivering the connection to home.

I love that golden light. Especially after so much rain/cold/gray. We had the very same breakthrough this morning! x

Storms!!!
Well now back in Brisbane and the summer storm season has started already.
Last night a real “bommy dazzler” with some small hail and thankfully afterwards,
only 20 minutes of torrential rain, the sauna didn’t return so it was a sleep-able
night.
Have started my pitching of stuff, as I am only taking the barest of essentials
and what I treasure, Will buy bed, table and chairs etc in Terrigal, plenty of top class
furniture stores with discount prices.
I will be glad to be south of “The Tweed” and away from the humidity, as my age,
humidity and my body are at war – ha ha – and now humidity a la sauna conditions
is winning!
Cheers
Colin
