There is an energy, a voice of such fullness, an undefinable something, which causes some of us to crave walking in that silver glow called moonlight.
I watch the heavens daily paying attention to the moon growing, growing
Changing daily, until one day;
the sky ablaze, with the glory of the stars, the moon grows larger in a thick velvet sky
Shining immense and bright— burning silver and ice into the night.
From my world to your heart,
Linda

Glorious! We rarely get such a clean view of the moon, our air is full of moisture and it makes things hazy… She still smiles down, but it’s in soft focus!

Soft is good…any type of silver moonlight is good! As you and I both know! 🙂

I would, though, love one of those nights you get in central Australia where the sky is black velvet, sprinkled with a million huge and brilliant stars, and the moon is so bright and clear, with crisp detail. Maybe one day when we do our big road trip…

The Snow Moon. Hopefully the worst of the cold is behind us now. It is always magnetic, isn’t it?

It is! We are surrounded in thick fog and clouds of rain and have been for three days. I miss the sun and the moon.

Luv, luv the last line (the whole post with the pix ) is amazing. That line captures the feeling of awe we can experience if we take the time to “see nature” Your wonderful prose poetry reminds me of Walt Whitman’s. Hugs, Sandy

I don’t know. It’s not big, so that helps.

I love your poetic, inspiring words and images. You always feel to close to the sky Linda. Your opening words are especially exquisite: ‘There is an energy, a voice of such fullness, an undefinable something, which causes some of us to crave walking in that silver glow called moonlight.’ Thank you for capturing such a sense of wonder, always.
