“Home is where our story begins, again and again.”—Christiane Belfaur
We finally got the time, the energy and the money together to start the new building we’ve been wanting since last fall.
Humberto and he crew arrived BRIGHT and early yesterday morning (6:30 to be exact) Humberto owns the company!
The three guys who stayed here and worked for us were
funny,
extremely capable, and very, very good.
Mindy-Lou decided she had to help!
About 11:00 a.m they broke for lunch.
By 5:30 we had the fuel tank pad
And the new floor, of the new building (Terry and I will build—mostly Terry—you do understand) finished, sealed and drying.
They even dated it for us!
Wednesday they will remove the forms and cut the cement…then it is up to Terry and I for the rest of the story!

Wow! You two are amazing. I’m looking forward to the progress photos!

It will be very nice to have some more room…to clear up that junk building next to the new one…to have a room just for the woodworking stuff.

It looks as if you’ve got your construction project off to a great start. I hope the rest of it goes as well (if not as fast!).

It will be slow…we will work on it as time and money allow!

i DO totally understand exactly what you mean about you and Terry buildng (or remember, might be more appropriate word at my advanced age) … but your help and encouragement will be needed and appreciated … or at least that is what Bill always told me . It’s going to be a great building.

I sometimes do lots of ‘get this—get that’ sorta stuff, but it does keep him from having to do so!

My husband always thought I could do anything he needed help with. Sometimes it was pick up that end its not that heavy as I struggled to get it off the ground or hold that wall board up while I nail it. He had more faith in my work then I did but we worked so well together and he believed in me, made me realize I could do a lot of things because of that.

Humberto is kind of adorable! I do love to see a man happy and confident in his work. Onward and upward (literally) from here!
