Thanks. I needed that! We didn’t put up our feeders this year as we didn’t want the hummers to go hungry if a new owner didn’t want to feed them. I miss watching their antics.
A year ago we were visiting Montrose and our hosts had a feeder just outside the window next to the kitchen table. What a delightful way to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner, watching the birds fighting over the food and having a grand time. God has blessed us with so many gorgeous critters to watch and admire.
Oh wonderful! You have so many of these little gems and they are so happy (you feed them well). Lovely video. I meant to say on the later post, I could almost smell the four-o’clocks as I read … they were my mother-in-laws favorite and just thinking of them and hummingbirds too reminds me of her.
Such incredible tiny creatures! So glad you are helping them get nourishment. Do you ever get monarchs there? My dad planted milkweed just for them, and it worked! How funny to plant weeds, and how lovely also.
Oh, bless the gorgeous little things. The sound of summer.

This time of year the babies are there and the migrating Rufus and others have arrived so I have lots of them, which I adore!

We have milkweed all over the place. We don’t spray, just for that reason.
