My brother and his wife, Cloudy, live in Boulder, Colorado.
Cloudy was walking downtown one late afternoon when that golden hour just after sunset occured
Cloudy said she stood and took photos in all four directions—north, south, east, and west in the graceful, soft hour before the coming of dark.
I loved the photos!
Cloudy graciously shared them with me, so I could share them with you.
This perfect solitude amazing color, in the heart of downtown Boulder.
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda

These photos are gorgeous. Thank you, Cloudy.

That call of home is always with us, even if our hearts and souls are other places. Happy New Year, Charlotte. I’ve been thinking of you and wondering how you are.

Thanks Linda and thanks Cloudy too. Amazing pictures. Our ‘kids’ live in Longmont, so we go to Boulder every time we visit them — I love the City and the Colorado skies, but I’ve never gotten such perfect ones.

I have such fond memories (mostly) of Boulder — and its proximity (right (‘butt-up’) against the abrupt upsweep of the leading edge of The Range, the tsunami-like gusts of winds sometimes, the crystal clarity after the wind has swept the skies — especially to the west — weird clouds frequently …

What cool memories you have…you, also, enjoy the earth and the skies it seems.
