It’s raining here. Has been for days! And Nights.
But I am not complaining, although we are starting to be a tad too wet!
Still, this morning after a very rich and full cloudburst
A rainbow appeared over our house, landing in the now harvested pinto bean field
And on the Cottonwood tree at the end of Fedler’s yard
The whole tree was alive with the color gold!
The sky is a dark leaden color, the rainbow over our house brings such beauty and pleasure I just had to share it with you!
From my world to your heart,
Linda
Wow ! That is so beautiful!!

Your photos of the rainbow are gorgeous. I’m happy to hear that you are getting rain. I just hope you don’t go from one extreme to the other.

Me too. We are tad over-wet now!

Look at those puddles!! I can’t quite imagine how happy that must make you, although yes, it’s possible to be too wet. I need to do a post about our summer, but need to get my statistics together first. We typically get about 43″ of rain per year. This year we surpassed that amount in either July or August. I forget…it’s all running together!

Um . . . I think there is supposed to be a pot o’ gold at the end of the rainbow, not a tree o’ gold.

The rainbow is beautiful — I’m catching up backwards, should have read this first before I commented on your later post.
