The sky is full of sounds
And color — storms play around us
There fun little birds flowing between here and there
The shadows cast by their little feathery bodies is more than a delight to me
The rain and the
snow shimmer here and there (we only got snow one day here and it was gone by noon)
And sometimes…there are other wings beating the air!
From my heart to your world,
Linda

I enjoyed all of your photos of wings in the air, although I haven’t seen anything like that last photo around here. You got a great picture of the clouds.

Nice photos, Linda! Is that hawk holding something in it’s talons? (Looks like a stuffed animal – yes I’ve had coffee)

Aren’t they awful…tons of them here. At least the Starlings go to the feed lot.

if we had a feed lot nearby β¦ the starlings gather so thick in some of our trees it looks like the tree is “fully-leafed”. drives the cats crazy !

Many years ago, the geese migrating over the Santa Clara Valley was something rare to see. We could hear them coming, and would watch them going. They live here now, and some never leave.

They were when I was a kid; but not so much when I deal with the mess they leave on lawns or flat roofs.
