The sky was full of warning…or at least full of the promise of snow
Gusts of wind plummeted clouds here and there and all around us
Then around three-thirty in the afternoon
Rare flakes started falling here
The sky quickly darkened
And the ground slightly filled with fun little flakes of wonder
It wasn’t a lot, but it was nice.
Then a wee rain came, turning all to ice
But who am I to argue with the weather Gods…
It’s still white, it’s still moisture and the mountains are shining brightly today with even more snow!
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
Yea, moisture! You have been getting the most gorgeous skies over there ~ and you capture them oh, so well! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you, Elaine! I hope you get tons of snow up there in your mountain home

You got some gorgeous sky photos, and I’m glad you got some moisture onto the ground, even if it did turn to ice.

But the ice melted, which is good. And today it is bitter cold but sunny

We keep all of our snow in the mountains and just enjoy pictures of snow.

I think that is the very best way to enjoy snow!

Yours is the most gentle and uplifting blog I read every day. How could anyone leave negative and hateful comments? For what? I saw your comment over at Celi’s blog.

Just yesterday I got one using the F word and telling me we were killers of humanity. Go figure…I think there are some people who just love to be nasty.

So, how exactly, are you killers of humanity? Stumped on that one.

Raising food that kills people…I don’t know. But it could be that all farmers raise GMO food, (which isn’t true) and GMO kills.

Then there was the one about the traps to capture corn worms (for sweet corn) and the comment said we were evil for trying to destroy the bugs in the world, because the bugs are an important part of the eco system

Another one that got me was one a while back that said Coyotes were important to all life and only ate berries nuts and seeds. (Oh, get real, I thought.) Most of these are not said in nice tones of writing but ugly mean words.

And I even got one that said I was a devil worshipers because I worship the sky. Sigh.

Anyway, I just put them in spam

Maybe you should write a book with the wacko comments. I like the one about coyotes…stupid city people. Here coyotes kill and eat dogs and cats, too and fawns. Predation of antelope babies is especially bad here. Fruits and berries, ,my eye.

How excellent! Okay, maybe not so excellent for those who live with it, but to those of us who lack it, it is excellent!
