A Tiny Bit of a Slow Down—Sunday, July 28, 2019

We seem to have been extremely busy of late

So much happening, good times

And a wee bit of work-over-load

So, today, I am slowing myself down

I feel immensely tired for some reason.

See you in tomorrow morning!

Your friend on a western Colorado farm,

  1. Take all the time you need. You all are going through a real life change–retirement. Of course, only men retire! Women just keep on cooking. This is a good time to check the old bucket list. You’ve had your noses to the grindstone so long that I bet you don’t have one. People don’t realize the farming is 24/7/365.
Any trips you would like? Take the grandchildren some where while they still like you. If you’re like so many of us of your generation , you didn’t have much of a honeymoon. Now is the time for one.

Put yourselves first for awhile and schedule some fun.

    • We ta;l about traveling, but when it gets down to it we say…maybe next year. I guess we just love what we are doing so much it isn’t work. I just got way too tired with lots of fun company, many things to do and no sleeping real well at night. I should be good to go tomorrow —Hugs! And thank you so much for caring!

  2. It’s what happens when you push real hard for a spell and then you need to fortify for the next big push. Life is like that. Had myself a nice nap today too. We worked darn hard for days then you just fizzle a while. 🙂

  3. I know the feeling. Today may be a rest day for me…finally. I am so tired all I want to do is cry. I think it is the time of year and our age…maybe..or other crap we cannot avoid. Hang in there.
