Back on Tuesday night, last week, Boomer and I took a wee walk-about
The wind was bad, restless; like a nightmare
Then it started to snow
I was frozen; we didn’t go far
The next day showed us diamonds on the earth
Which truly didn’t start melting until Thursday
Then warming up enough by Saturday it was all gone.Ā Leaving on wet spots where it used to be.
November has arrived; winter is officially here (no matter what the calendar says) š
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
Its still frozen over here…ready for it to melt.

I love the abstract images of the snow falling at night. They’re beautiful. The web of life.

Yes. Sometimes we forget to ‘see’ the wonder, being caught up in the cold.

Sweater weather, Boomer. Do you shiver like I do?

I do. Mom puts a coat on me when it’s too cold. Boomer

I really enjoyed your night photos. We’ve had the cold temperatures but no snow so far.

The weather people kept saying you guys were going to get some moisture too. Glad you did – a good thing! Now if only it would do the “normal” Colorado thing and warm up to 60° before it snows again. š

Yes, that would be a good thing, get the moisture into the ground into the roots!
