Although, the weather has turned
Giving us rain, frozen mix like snow, and weather so cold I had to start a fire in the woodstove
The smoke is gone!
And the Pine Gulch Fire is 90% contained.
Now, hopefully, the other horrendous fires are contained!

The weather reports in our part of the country make it seem as if winter has arrived in your part. I’m glad the smoke has cleared, and I hope the remaining fires are soon brought under control.

Yes, you can no longer taste the air! Containment is a very good thing. I heard they got upwards of 12″ of snow on parts of the Cameron Peak fire – yea! Now if the sun would come out and temps would get out of the 20’s…

It’s been a tough summer all the way around. I am going to start catching up soon. Firefighters are the best. Ours are working overtime here and we have been lucky enough to only get to stage one on evacuation. The smoke is horrendous. 90% containment is great. Wishing for rain and cool soon. Don’t breathe too much smoke. Even a little just sits in your chest.
