These times we live in are so
scary, really.
I tried to think of a different word;
only scary seemed to burst out of my mind and stay there.
I have given up listening to the news
Reading hate-filled anything
Watching any type of National Sports.
I do so, to keep my mind sane, although,
We keep on working, and I am putting up food as always.
Storms clouds are not just building, they have arrived.
My Dad said I liked to look at the world through rose-colored glasses.
I think he was right. For I bury myself in the daily murmur of the farm.
From my world to your heart,
Linda
Yes, those rose colored glasses ~

Fall is heading in here too, Sharon. It is always a conflicting time for me. I love the days, the colors, but what comes next….I am not so in-love with. Hugs to you!

You know Linda, in a year like this, with the virus, with the uprisings in so many places, I don’t think it’s at all bad to wear those rose-colored glasses. After all, we have to have hope for a better tomorrow for all of us. We have a God who loves us all dearly and it’s good to Trust in Him. I will do that with hope in my heart for whatever God has in store for us. He will do what is best for our world. May we trust in that.

I can’t stand the news or sports. There is very little that either can offer that helps us.
I wish, daily, for a better world to live in.

Me too. This anger and fear and need to destroy is so exhausting and worrisome.
