Only taking off two weeks
For Christmas Holiday
Then back we started
Until yesterday
When all we had left were the giant chunks
TADA
Set for winter (and maybe next year, only time will tell)
The sky was stunning. A perfect ending to a very big and hard job.
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
I’m so glad you got all your firewood done.
That is a beautiful pink sky, Mama.

Oh, bravo! Once warm, twice warm. Now for the third and best warmth, burning in your stove! I miss my wood stove….

Nothin’ like a warming fire from a wood stove. When I doze off in front of the fire, I can barely remember the hard work it took to make this enjoyment possible. But when I do think of the sweat and labour, there are no regrets.
Really enjoy that sky of yours. There’s just something about that western sky.
Good post, Always enjoyable, thanks.
