It’s cold again…fire in the woodstove cold
Miserable out on the ditch bank cold
Cold enough there is ice on the running water
Which is very cold. Our breath smokes and plumes in the air.
The wind has been a huge mess, days of it…blowing gusts of 40 m.p.h.
I keep hoping soon…very soon we will settle into a soft and lovely Spring.

April is being a pain here too. Just went out to photograph blinding snow with giant flakes following a mess of sleet. Was talking to Matt on the phone and had to hang up, as it was hailing so hard there (NYC) that we couldn’t hear each other over the din. Sure am itching to garden! lol
