A human-caused fire near Moab, Utah

Called the Pack Creek fire

Was caused by someone leaving (!!!!!!?????) a campfire unattended.

The smoke from Moab’s Pack Creek area filled the sky in a horrible, ugly, beautiful, sad way.

Unattended.  So unnecessary.  So sad.

Your friend on a western Colorado farm,

  1. The west needs rain. We are really dry in Wisconsin this year too, but Delta, Grand Junction, Montrose, and the rest of the west is unbearably dry. No wonder there are fires. So sad.

  2. 😥 😪Why is it so dang hard to understand, leave a camp fire unattended or do not extinguish cold… this is what happens. So very sad. Prayers that they get it under control quickly 🙏🙏🙏 and that no one is hurt.

  3. OMG. I’ve been reading about this awful drought that has hit the West. The map of affected areas is unbelievable. Even some midwestern states are affected. Sending rain energy…

    Your pix are stunning.
