Autumn/Fall is early this year.
Maybe it (Autumn) will linger on longer than normal,
Allowing those of us who are very fond of this time of year,
(See the spider in her web…waiting, waiting…shudder)
To enjoy its perfection.

Well, it’s still hot in the forest, but this morning it was 46°. Only a few hummers buzzing around. So yea, it’s getting towards fall ~ Gopibg is a. l o n g fall.

we are really summer hot yet here in south central Kansas. The nights are some cool. But there are signs of fall.

I’m missing the spiders. Over the last couple of years, I haven’t seen the orb weavers or the McKinley spiders. We always had at least three orb weavers on the house and a couple of McKinley’s in the garden areas. It makes me sad…
